Why We Started Conscious
We’re a Saskatoon based, female owned, intentional cleaning business that is passionate about health and wellness, and of course, cleaning!
A clean home is a crucial part in being able to prioritize yourself and your family’s wellbeing. We believe that within your clean home, you can feel good about the products that are being used to make it look good.
After working in the cleaning industry for a few years, we we’re unhappy with the products that we’re normally used. We started looking into the effects that popular products can have on us.
The research was eye-opening. Ingredients like phthalates and parabens, found in countless common household products, are linked to hormonal disruption including male infertility and estrogen imbalances in women. Synthetic fragrances, present in most mainstream cleaners and air fresheners, are known to interfere with hormones, compromise respiratory health, and affect neurological function. Certain products like bleach, many air fresheners & dishwashing liquids contain VOCs that have been linked to cancer.
Not to get too doom and gloom. Luckily there are products on the market without them that work just as well!
With deep care for our own health and our clients health, we created a service where wellbeing is top of mind, while still providing a revitalized home for you to come home to.
